With the cost of energy increasing year on year alongside pressures to make greater efficiency savings the Spiro-Edge Spiral (SES) system has been designed to use a single drive motor rather than two on typical standard spiral systems.

Designed with positive drive on the outside edge of each tier, the SES system has no weighty central drive cage which means a single motor can drive a whole spiral resulting in lower energy consumption and reduced running costs.

With the drive mechanism on the outside of the spiral; the motor, bearings and drive shaft are easily accessible for routine maintenance. And without a central drive cage the number of parts requiring replacement is reduced to a minimum, further reducing he cost of ownership of a Spiro-Edge System when compared to standard direct drive units.
